In September 1967 I went to a Trade School. The trades...Art, Housecraft and Needlework, I left in 1972.
I never heard from anyone from school for years.
In 1997 at a piano concert in Ealing Becky was playing; on our row of seats was Shirley Crabb (Richland)
her daughter Louise was playing too Shirley recognised me. She had been in touch with Janet Adele (Hounsom) and
Anita Mc Donald (Davies) who had been my "Best friend" at school.
From then on we met every year on the 1st Saturday in July for a Mary Boon reunion.
In 2002 we were joined by Lee Thomas (Sauerteig) Jennie Donaldson (Furniaux) Irene Adley (Poland) who
we met through Friends Reunited.
In July 2006 11 of us met for our 50th birthday. The 7 who had met before joined by Irene Fitt
(Grey) Gill Carr (Hill) Janet McEntee (Leysion) Debra Moggridge (Jordan) we had not seen each other for 35 years, it was surreal,
what a great way to recall old memories, after tea we talked in the lobby of the Savoy.
Some of us took a walk to Camden Town to meet with Anne Marie Foster, another school friend who had been
working: She was expecting to meet with Lee, they had only just met up on the internet the week before after loosing
touch; what a shock for her when 6 of us turned up, we went to the local pub for a drink and a chat.
